    Description

City and County of San Francisco Human Services Agency (HSA) Funding Opportunity Request for Proposals (RFP) #1207 San Francisco Family and Children’s Services (FCS) Visitation Services and East Bay Visitation Center The San Francisco Human Services Agency (SFHSA) announces its intent to seek proposals from organizations interested in providing comprehensive visitation and transportation services for families and children linked to Child Welfare Services who have been placed by Family and Children’s Services (FCS) in San Francisco and FCS and Children and Family Services (CFS) in the East Bay. The goal is to comply with visitation court orders and mandates, utilize visitation as an opportunity to maintain family connections, build parental capacity, strengthen family relationships, and increase successful reunification and permanency outcomes. This solicitation has two parts. Part I describes the First Stop Visitation and Transportation Program, located in and funded by San Francisco. Part II describes the East Bay Visitation Program, a shared site located in East Bay which is a collaboration of SF HSA and CCC EHSD. Both locations are safe, clean, and family-friendly sites where resource families, parents, caregivers and county staff may drop off and pick up children and visitation participants. Note: Respondents must submit a separate proposal package for each service area for which they are applying to provide services. Respondents can apply for just one service area or both if they desire. An agency CANNOT apply for just transportation.
