The Kansas City, Kansas Police Department (“KCKPD”) and Kansas City, Kansas Fire Department (“KCKFD”) are seeking a service to register alarms in Kansas City, KS and collect false alarm fees pursuant to UG Code of Ordinances Sec. 19-182 et seq. (“False Alarm Ordinance”). The selected vendor shall provide comprehensive database management, billing, and accounting services for the administration of annual alarm permit registrations and renewals. The selected vendor shall also manage billing and accounting for false alarm activations, as well as handling collections for any outstanding balances. The vendor must offer a user-friendly online platform that enables residents and businesses to apply for and renew permits, as well as pay associated fees. The vendor will collect Unified Government WYCO/KCK RFP #43185 False Alarm Management revenues on behalf of KCKPD and KCKFD, including permit fees, false alarm fees, and other fees or fines associated with the program.
