Austin Independent School District (“AISD” or “District”) is seeking a qualified consultant(s) to perform facilities assessment and related services for future capital planning and maintenance activities for over 120 of the district facilities, including schools, athletic and fine arts facilities, and centralized support facilities. The District also reserves the right to select one or more “alternates” for the team pool, and such alternates may be asked to undertake services if or when needed, but are not guaranteed a contract for any services. As further described in this RFQ, a pool of consultants will be selected to perform various tasks, including Educational Suitability Assessments (ESAs); Facilities Condition Assessments (FCAs); ancillary asset management; maintenance planning; regulatory compliance and land use assessments; and capital planning in connection with AISD facilities. The selected consultants will provide ongoing services potentially through 2031, to support the District’s maintenance and capital planning efforts.
