    Description

    The Contractor shall provide meter pit inspection services to identify and record the material of both the public (utility-owned) and private (customer-owned) service lines. The Contractor is to determine the service line material entering and leaving the meter pit as far away from the connection to the meter as possible for all meters serving each address provided. The actual number of inspections required will be determined by the County¿s service line inventory model and may be less than the maximum estimated quantity. The County does not guarantee any minimum quantity of inspections. Payment shall be made only for completed and accepted inspections actually performed, as part of DeKalb County Department of Watershed Management¿s (DWM¿s) service line material inventory efforts.
