    Description

    The NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets intends to procure Fire Protection Services pursuant to its discretionary authority under State Finance Law Section 163 (6). Interested parties should contact the department to discuss this opportunity. All necessary quote documents have been attached to this posting. Provide fire protection services during the 2026 New York State Fair (August 26 – September 7, 2026). Services should include providing on site fire protection service beginning 6:00pm on the night before and 24-hour service (concluding at midnight on the last day of the Fair) during the annual Fair on the NYS Fairgrounds and State Fair Blvd. between Bridge Street and Pumphouse Road with at minimum a fire apparatus that meets the 2016 edition of NFPA 1901 (Standard for Automotive Fire Apparatus) Chapter 5, Pumper Fire Apparatus and a minimum of four department qualified interior firefighters to operate the apparatus during the annual New York State Fair. The selected contractor will be required to provide all fire protection equipment and materials necessary to provide these services. Communication with respect to this procurement initiated by or on behalf of an interested vendor through other than the “Designated Contact Person(s)” identified below may constitute an “impermissible contact” under state law with respect to Procurement Lobbying, and could result in disqualification of that vendor.
