    Description

    The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation is seeking bids for the administration of First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, and Automatic External Defibrillator (FA/CPR/AED) training to Department employees who are required to maintain a two-year certification per New York State Title 9, Executive Law. The training must comply with Section 303.4 of the Executive Law: Operators. Volunteer responders will be trained to respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing, and first aid emergencies. The training shall teach participants the knowledge and skills necessary to administer immediate care to an injured or ill person and to determine whether advanced medical care is needed. The training curriculum will adhere to the agenda of an organization that has been approved by the State Emergency Medical Advisory Committee (SEMCA)/NYS DOH to provide FA/CPR/AED training. Pursuant to the State Finance Law Sections 139-j and 139-k, this IFB includes and imposes certain restrictions on communications between a Governmental Entity and an Offeror during the procurement process. Proposers shall adhere to the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation Guidelines Regarding Permissible Contacts During a Procurement and the Prohibition of Inappropriate Lobbying Influence.
