    The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission, MD (the "WSSC"), is soliciting sealed responses for Furnish and Deliver Mechanical Joint Fittings and Accessories. Responses are to be submitted via WSSC's eProcurement Portal via https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/wsscwater PRIOR TO 2:00 pm on Thursday, June 4, 2026. Late responses will not be accepted.

    The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) seeks a Contractor to provide Mechanical Joint Fittings and Accessories that are used in the functionality, maintenance and rehabilitation of WSSC's water infrastructure.

    Background

    WSSC maintains over 5,600 miles of freshwater pipeline and more than 5,400 miles of sewer pipeline in Montgomery and Prince George's Counties. These Mechanical Joint Fittings are primarily used underground to connect pipe sections, valves, hydrants, and other WSSC waterworks appurtenances that provide a watertight seal with limited flexibility.
