    *For a full Scope of Work, please refer to the Request for Quotes in the Documents section.*The Authority is currently undergoing improvements for the Loveland Reservoir Trail Safety Improvements Project (Project) at the Loveland Recreation Area in Alpine, San Diego County, California. The Project is intended to enhance public safety, improve trail stability, and support long‑term recreational access. Work includes installation of a pedestrian bridge, construction of reinforced concrete abutments, and related site improvements.Pedestrian BridgeThe Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, utilities, and incidentals necessary to complete the following:1.1 Bridge Supply and Installation• Provide and install a 40‑foot-long aluminum or FRP pedestrian bridge spanning an existing drainage feature.• Bridge width shall be 5 feet wide, with safety handrails on both sides designed to prevent falls.• Bridge shall be designed and constructed in accordance with industry‑standard pedestrian bridge guidelines. Selected guidelines must be submitted with the bid.1.2 Abutments• Construct reinforced concrete abutments on both sides of the crossing.• All construction activities must occur outside the drainage channel (bank‑to‑bank impact avoidance).1.3 Elevation Requirements• All constructed features must be installed at least six inches above the Loveland Dam high‑water mark (1,355 ft amsl).• Minimum installation elevation: 1,355.5 ft amsl.Technical Specifications are available as Exhibit A.Environmental Measures are available as Exhibit B. No pencil figures or erasures are permitted. Mistakes must be crossed out, corrections inserted adjacent thereto, and initialed in ink by the person signing the quotation.2. Statement of Bidder’s Qualifications and References:Bidder shall provide requested information on the provided forms demonstrating the Bidder’s company has the qualifications, experience, and capability to perform the requirements of this proposal. As part of the SOQ section, at least three project references within the last five (5) years shall be included, with the following information: Project Name, Description of Work, Contact (with phone and email), Completion Date, and Project Cost. Notes: The selected contractor will be required to sign the Authority's standard Agreement for Non-Professional Services (Agreement), attached at Exhibit C. Any exceptions to the Agreement should be noted in your quote. All services must adhere to the bid pricing and comply with the Agreement.
