Work To Be Done: The Work to be completed for the Douglas 2026 Water Improvements is described briefly as follows: In general, construction shall consist of replacing approximately 375 galvanized water services with new HDPE water services, consisting of approximately 200 long side connections and 180 short side connections. Meters are mostly 5/8¿, with the rest being split between 1¿ and 2¿ water meters. Work will also include the installation of two pressure reducing valves and associated concrete utility vaults. Straight-edge pavement cutting, pavement patching, and seeding/grassing will be required as needed.
