    The City of Alcoa will be accepting separate sealed bids for an annual blanket purchase authorization of Directional Underground Boring until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at the office of the Alcoa Purchasing Agent, 223 Associates Blvd., Alcoa, Tennessee, 37701.

    The City is requesting written quotations for Directional Underground Boring Service for the contract period of July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027.

                                                                                 

     

    SCOPE OF WORK

     

    The purpose of this work is to minimize surface disruption, reduce environmental impacts, and improve overall construction efficiency.

    The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete each project. The Contractor shall be fully responsible for job site safety, including but not limited to trench safety systems, shoring, jacking operations, and traffic control in accordance with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD).

    The Contractor shall be responsible for all damages, losses, or claims arising from or related to the performance of the Work.
