    The Work of this Contract includes the following: 1 Removal of one (1) ground mounted cantilever sign structure and installation of (2) new ground mounted cantilever sign structures including removal and replacement of drilled shafts 2 Removal of two (2) ground mounted span sign structures and installation of two (2) new ground mounted span sign structures 3 Removal of one (1) bridge mounted span sign structure and installation of one (1) new bridge mounted span sign structure 4 Repair of 11 sign structures including galvanized coating repair, replacement of corroded or tightening fasteners, and reseat chord shim stacks 5 Removal of sign lighting at seven (7) existing sign structures and restoration of connections to existing electrical equipment 6 Removal and replacement of overhead guide sign panels and miscellaneous roadway signs at 15 sign structure locations 7 Clearing and Grubbing 8 Work zone traffic control 9 Erosion Control 10 Mill and overlay and guide rail replacement at miscellaneous locations Special Instructions: This contract includes the opportunity to receive an Enhanced Utilization Credit, which is designed to incentivize the use of MWBE firms that have had limited or no opportunity to engage in contracting with the MTA. The Enhanced Utilization Credit Initiative (EUCI), offered by the MTA in partnership with Empire State Development, allows an additional fifty percent (50%) credit toward the utilization of EUCI-eligible firms for this Contract.
