The City of Coral Springs is interested in obtaining proposals from licensed contractors to complete various small to medium-sized construction projects on an as needed basis at various locations throughout the City. There is no guarantee as to the actual amount of work given to any Contractor.

This section of the Proposal should briefly introduce and give a description of the firm, including the size, range of activities, etc. Particular emphasis should be given as to how the firm-wide experience and expertise in the area of Construction outline on the cover page may be brought to bear on the proposed work. Describe the firm’s experience and provide a list and description of projects
Also identify the supervisory personnel who will work on the project along with an organizational chart. Resumes of each person that will be assigned to the project should be provided with emphasis being given to their training and skills that may enhance quality and timeliness of the firm’s work. Please provide a listing of the qualifications, including education, certifications, experience, honors, and awards received, professional associations of which the firm and/or its personnel are members.
The Evaluation Committee will utilize the following scale for scoring the "Quality Level" for the weighted Criteria:

Proposer must be able to acquire bonding for projects exceeding $100,000. A letter from the Surety Company is requested as evidence of a bonding capacity for a single project.

Provide a minimum of three (3) references of similar size and scope that were satisfactorily performed within the last five (5) years, governmental references are preferred. For each engagement provide a completed Reference Verification Form from the companies or governmental agencies that the services were provided to.
The number of references will be graded as follows:
1 reference properly filled out will receive a quality level grade of 1
2 references properly filled out will receive a quality level grade of 3
3 references properly filled out will receive a quality level grade of 5

In accordance with section 2-302(11) and 2-307(g) of the City of Coral Springs Purchasing and Procurement Code a proposer with a physical business location within the municipal boundaries of Coral Springs, Florida shall be granted a preference in the amount of five (5) points with submission of a valid City of Coral Springs business tax license.
The Local Preference form as well as the City of Coral Business Tax License must be received by the City at the Time bids are due in order to qualify for the points.

Q (Disaster Restoration): We are a GC disaster restoration company. Although we have capabilities in many of the areas listed in this solicitation, these do not directly align with mold, fire, water, hurricane, biohazard, etc. repair and restoration. Is this an appropriate solicitation to pursue for our trade, or is can we anticipate others more closely aligned with disaster restoration work?

A: The City of Coral Springs does not anticipate the installation of any new fuel/diesel dispensers, tanks, or piping however there may be future needs for painting existing tanks and piping.
