Hernando County continually works to improve operational efficiencies to current services, maintain a state of good repair for current assets, implement new services, upgrade transit infrastructure, and develop innovative mobility solutions while maintaining local, state and federal partnerships. Hernando County is also dedicated to an active dialogue with the public for all projects and system changes.

Background

The Hernando County Board of County Commissioners (HCBOCC), Transit Division (TheBus) provides public transportation and complimentary paratransit services within the County. TheBus continually works to improve operational efficiencies of current services. TheBus is also dedicated to an active dialogue with the public for all projects and system changes.

HCBOCC is seeking qualified and experienced public transit Consultants to augment staff capabilities in the general areas of environmental clearance, architecture, engineering, and construction management assistance.

Partnerships with related agencies and local jurisdictions are critical to the success of HCBOCC Transit. Projects are jointly funded and managed with partners such as the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT).

  Identify the project principal, the project manager, key staff and subconsultants. Present a brief discussion regarding how the team's qualifications and experience relate to the specific project.

  • Knowledge of the local labor and material markets.

  Informs employees about the dangers of drug abuse in the workplace, the firm’s policy of maintaining a drug free working environment, and available drug counseling, rehabilitation, and employee assistance programs, and the penalties that may be imposed upon employees for drug use violations.

  Gives each employee engaged in providing commodities or contractual services that are under proposal a copy of the statement specified above.
