The City of Palm Desert ("City") has adopted purchasing procedures for certain routine and regular contracts and purchase agreements valued at $250,000 or less (Municipal Code Title 3, Chapter 3.30). Under the procedures adopted by the City, vendors must complete and submit an application and be deemed by the City to be a "qualified vendor" based upon qualifications criteria established in the application.
For procurements up to $250,000, vendors registered on the City's vendor lists will be offered opportunities to submit quotes and/or proposals. To be considered for a solicitation, vendors must be qualified and hold any appropriate licenses/certificates as appropriate for the type of procurement requested.
