    Description

    Columbus City Schools Maintenance Department is soliciting quotes for generator preventative maintenance and service repairs. This is an all or none Bid. Upon awarding of this bid, the purchase order will serve as the contract for services rendered. This purchase order is subject to CCS Purchase Order/General Terms & Conditions which are incorporated herein by this reference and which are posted for review at http://www.ccsoh.us/Vendors or by calling (614) 365-5820. Upon awarding this bid, the District maintains the right to monitor contract performance. The Columbus Board of Education may, at their option and with the approval of the Contractor, extend the period of this Contract up to a maximum of three (3), one (1) year options. The Contractor shall be notified in writing by the Director of Buildings and Grounds of the Columbus Board of Education’s intention to extend the contract period at least thirty (30) calendar days prior to the expiration of the original contract period Contractors may be required to update work orders through the Buildings and Grounds work order software within 48 hours of completion of work and include a brief description of the repair and the parts or material that were used. Columbus City Schools has established an Outreach Program to increase participation of businesses designated as Local Economically Disadvantaged Enterprises (LEDE). The Board of Education (BOE) has established an aspirational goal of 20% participation by business designated as LEDE. Vendors are strongly encouraged to use a good faith effort to support the BOE in achieving the Districts LEDE participation goals.
