    The County of Kern is extending an invitation to bid for 33 NEW and UNUSED GETAC Rugged Laptop computers with warranty. No substitutions will be accepted. BID RESPONSE INSTRUCTIONS: It It is the sole responsiblilty of the Vendor to return responses by the time and date stated. Please contact the Buyer listed for this Quotation Request, should you require assistance. Questions may be submitted through the bid on Public Purchase.com. Quotation Responses may be submitted online, or Sealed Bids delivered to: Kern County Purchasing Attn: Shawn DeSchutter 1115 Truxtun Avenue Bakersfield, CA 93301 before 11:00:00 a.m., PST, on Friday, April 24th. The Quotation Request No. "PR2600527 - Sheriff GETAC Laptops" must appear on the outside of the envelope. If you are submitting online through Public Purchase.com, it is the Vendor's responsibility to make sure the required completed Quotation Request form is uploaded and returned with your response. Faxed, or direct emailed responses are not allowed. ALL LATE BIDS WILL BE REJECTED WITHOUT EXCEPTION !! THE COMPLETED QUOTATION REQUEST FORM MUST BE RETURNED WITH YOUR RESPONSE! Failure to submit the completed Quotation Request response is grounds for disqualification. ALL QUOTES RE SUBJECT TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS STATED IN THE BID. NOTICE TO VENDORS: If your company desires to use any agreement or other terms and conditions relative to the goods and/or services specified in this quotation request, they must be provided by the Purchasing Division with your bid. If such an agrement or terms and conditions is not submitted with the bid, it is agreed by both parties hereto that only the terms and conditions contained in this quotation request and any resulting purchase order shall apply to the purchase of such good and/or services by County. Any agreement or terms and conditions received by the County or any of its employees after submsision of the bid or reference in any invoice from vendor shall be void and of no force or effect. The submission of any agreement or terms and conditions will be one of the factors that will be considered by the Purchasing Divison during the selection process and could result in a vendor not being selected by Purchasing.
