GL-2026-30 - Cider Mill Pump Station Force Main Replacement

The Town of Glastonbury will receive on-line bids to perform removal and replacement of an existing 4” cast iron force main of approximately 1,000± L.F. with a 4” HDPE SDR11 Thermal Butt Fused force main located on Cider Mill Road in Glastonbury. Additional work includes furnishing, installing and maintaining a temporary sanitary sewer bypass and pavement restoration. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud via an online Zoom meeting platform. No late bids will be accepted.Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid except as otherwise expressly provided in the Instruction to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and labor and material payment bonds in the full amount of the agreed contract price.Bidders are further advised that this project is subject to the prevailing wage requirements of Connecticut General Statutes Section 31-53.Bidders are also hereby alerted to the schedule requirements as outlined in Special Conditions Section 11.00.
