GL-2026-32 - 50 Nye Road Parking Lot Improvements- Light Poles and Fixtures Installation

The Town of Glastonbury will receive on-line Bids for furnishing and installing exterior parking lot illumination light poles and fixtures of the type and size specified to provide support for the reconstruction of a new parking lot performed by Town of Glastonbury personnel located at 50 Nye Road in Glastonbury.All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud via an online Zoom meeting, further instructions to follow via online notice prior to bid opening. No late bids will be accepted.Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid except as otherwise expressly provided in the Instruction to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and labor and material payment bonds in the full amount of the agreed contract price. Bidders are further advised that this project is subject to the prevailing wage requirements of Connecticut General Statutes Section 31-53. This project is also subject to State set-aside and contract compliance requirements. Bidders are also hereby alerted to the schedule requirements as outlined in Special Conditions Section 11.00.
