    Description

    Please refer to the IFB for minimum qualifications and mandatory requirements. Bids that do not include ALL mandatory document submissions will not be considered for award. A document submission checklist has been provided for your convenience. The Maryland Department of Health (MDH) is seeking a Contractor to provide groundskeeping services (mowing, trimming, edging, weed abatement, leaf removal/gutter cleaning, and debris cleanup) for the Potomac Center and Secure Evaluation & Therapeutic Treatment (SETT) facilities at their shared campus in Hagerstown, Maryland. The Potomac Center and SETT are residential care facilities for intellectually disabled adults who may have co-existing mental disorders. The site location is 1380 Marshall St, Hagerstown, MD 21740. The PC/SETT campus is a twenty-three (23) acre campus that includes ten (10) single-story buildings. For security purposes, the campus is enclosed in a metal picket-style fence with automatic gates at various entrances and/or exits of the campus. The Contractor will be responsible for maintaining the turf and fence line of the property, as well as some additional property that falls outside of the fence (see IFB Exhibit B for map of full area requiring services). The contract shall initiate on May 1, 2026 and the term shall be fifty-two (52) weeks (concludes after April 30, 2027).
