    The County of Ventura invites your bid on Metal Recycling ServicesThe County of Ventura is seeking a bid from qualified vendors to provide pickup, processing, and recycling of scrap metal generated at County facilities, with documented weights and revenue sharing.Bids must be submitted on line at https://ventura.bonfirehub.com/portal/?tab=login no later than Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. Bids may not be submitted by facsimile machine or email. Return only those pages on which a response is required.All questions concerning this bid may be directed to Richard Ramirez, Buyer, under Message tab of bid.Deadline for questions or clarifications concerning this bid is Wednesday, June 12, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.The contract will be awarded to the respondent deemed responsive and responsible who provides the highest price per pound, percentage per pound, or (or highest revenue return) to the County for metal recycling services.Vendor shall pay the County based on the current market value of metals, determined by the published American Metal Market (AMM) index in effect at the time of pickup. Pricing shall be calculated in accordance with the methodology outlined in Attachment F, Compensation Sheet.
