    INVITATION FOR BIDS ADVERTISEMENT HANCOCK COUNTY, GEORGIA FY 2025 GDOT LRA, FY 2026 LRA, AND FY 2026 LMIG PROJECTS. Sealed proposals for furnishing all labor, material, equipment, and services necessary to successfully accomplish the following work will be received by the Board of Commissioners of Hancock County Georgia, 12630 Broad Street, Sparta, Georgia 31087, until 9:00 AM on Monday August 24, 2026. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Project Description: Traffic control, 4" DEPTH 19 MM ASPHALT DEEP PATCHING, Asph. leveling, 1 1/4" asph. topping, 2" asph. topping, shoulder building, and grassing, and restriping ON VARIOUS COUNTY ROADS. Mr. Boderick Foster, Hancock County Manager will be Hancock County's contact person for acquiring bid packages. Mr. Foster's phone number at the Hancock County Commissioners Office is (706) 444-5746. Blank bid forms may be picked up at the Hancock County Commissioners Office at Hancock County Courthouse, 12630 Broad Street, Sparta Georgia. Contract Time: All work is to be accomplished within 6 months of the Project Notice-To-Proceed-Date to be supplied by Hancock County. Payment: Contractor to submit monthly pay request to Hancock County and Hancock County agrees to review and process pay requests within 30 days from receipt. A total of ten percent (10%) of progress payments, if applicable, will be retained until final acceptance by Hancock County has occurred. Successful bidder will strictly adhere to all Current Georgia DOT Regulations, Current Standards and Specifications, all Current Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices guidelines, and all requirements included in the Project Agreement between Hancock County and the successful bidder.
