    The HARRF treatment process produces approximately 15,470 tons of Class B biosolids per year, which are qualified for beneficial reuse. Disposal and beneficial reuse are regulated by the Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”) and the San Diego Regional Water Quality Control Board. The current solids handling treatment process produces approximately 42.4 wet tons of Class B biosolids per day. The digested sludge is dewatered in Andritz centrifuges to 20-30% solids.
