    Description

    The City of Cleveland ("City" “Client” “Owner”) is seeking qualified Design-Build Team Partners ("Contractor" “Design-Builder” “D-B” “D-B Team” "Consultant") to provide professional Architecture, Engineering, and Construction services for the HIGHLAND PARK GOLF COURSE PUMP HOUSE REPLACEMENT. The Project is considered a Progressive Design-Build and will be managed by the Mayor’s Office of Capital Projects (MOCAP), through the Division of Architecture and Site Development (DASD). MOCAP oversees the administration of the City’s Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) for all City-owned facilities, outdoor spaces, and infrastructure, working through its three divisions: the Division of Architecture & Site Development, the Division of Engineering & Construction, and the Division of Real Estate. The mission statement for MOCAP is:

    To provide for the planning, designing, construction, and preservation of the City of Cleveland's facilities and infrastructure through collaborative and comprehensive planning, leadership in management, excellence in sustainable design and technical expertise, and quality construction based on integrity and professionalism.

    The City of Cleveland is seeking proposals for the design and implementation of the pumphouse on Chagrin Boulevard in Highland Hills, OH in accordance with Ohio Revised Code (ORC) 717.02. The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to identify and select a single qualified provider to design and implement a new pumphouse with waterline improvements. The project scope includes design of pumps, backflow preventer, waterline connections and masonry structure to replace the existing pumphouse. Demolition and disposal of debris offsite from the old pumphouse once the new one is operable is included.

    Currently, the existing pumphouse services an 8" main waterline for the irrigation system for two eighteen-hole layouts at the City of Cleveland's only golf facility in the suburb of Highland Hills, Ohio. The replacement pumphouse should include the lines, valves, backflow device, pumps and necessary appurtenances needed to function as intended to provide adequate volume and pressure for the course's irrigation system.
