The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) is soliciting bids for contractor(s) to perform Highway Emergency Local Patrol services, known as HELP services. These services consist of HELP vehicles patrolling prescribed sections of New York State roadways, for the purpose of rapid removal of vehicles from the roadway that are disabled due to mechanical failure or minor and moderate crashes as well as assisting public safety agencies with traffic control. IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR BIDDERS Effective December 30, 2024, no Contractor may submit a bid for public work in New York State unless they are registered with the NYS Department of Labor. Bids received from unregistered Contractors shall be deemed Non-responsive. Additionally, no Subcontractor may commence work on a public work project unless they are registered with the NYS Department of Labor.
