    Project work includes: The City of Coral Springs, Florida is seeking qualified consultants or consultant teams to effectively expand upon the existing comprehensive historic preservation code which will align with best practices, support community goals, and comply with applicable state and federal regulations.

    Evaluation Criteria

    • Scope of Services Proposed (25 pts)

      Clearly describe the scope of services proposed including details of your approach and work plans.  A brief statement is to also be included which explains why your approach and plan would be the most effective and beneficial to the City of Coral Springs.

       

    • Firm Qualifications (25 pts)

      This section of the Proposal should briefly introduce and give a description of the firm, including the size, range of activities, etc.  Particular emphasis should be given as to how the firm-wide experience and expertise in the area of Historic Preservation may be brought to bear on the proposed work.  Describe the firm’s experience and provide a list and description of projects.

    • Experience & References (25 pts)

      Provide a minimum of three (3) references of similar size and scope that were satisfactorily performed within the last five (5) years, governmental references are preferred.

    • Price Proposal (20 pts)

      Submit your signed, firm, fixed fee performance-based price proposal including potential travel expenses and incidentals required for completion of services in accordance with your technical proposal. 

    • Local Preference (5 pts)

      In accordance with section 2-302 and 2-307(g) of the City of Coral Springs Purchasing and Procurement Code a proposer with a physical business location within the municipal boundaries of Coral Springs, Florida shall be granted a preference in the amount of five (5) points with submission of a valid business tax license.
