    Description

Stair Glides (Stair Lifts): Stair glides will be installed along existing staircases to provide a safe and reliable means of traveling between levels of the home. These motorized lifts include a seated platform that moves smoothly along a track mounted to the staircase. Safety features such as seat belts, obstruction sensors, and swivel seats at landings reduce the risk of falls and allow safe transfers. Stair glides eliminate the need to navigate stairs on foot, significantly increasing safety and independence. Vertical Platform Lift (VPL): A vertical platform lift will be installed to provide wheelchair-accessible vertical transportation between floors or from ground level to an elevated entrance. The lift consists of a stable platform with safety rails, non-slip flooring, and automatic gates. It operates via push-button controls and accommodates mobility devices such as wheelchairs or scooters. The VPL offers a safe alternative to stairs or ramps where space constraints exist and ensures compliance with accessibility standards.
