Huff's Corner Off-Site Mitigation Project

Notice of Construction:

The County of Yolo is requesting bids from qualified Contractors to provide services for the Huff's Corner Off-Site Mitigation Project per specifications outlined in this Invitation to Bid (ITB).

This project is also subject to the State of California, Department of Water Resources grant requirements.

Bidders who submit a response to this IFB must have the ability to meet the bid specifications and requirements, including General Terms and Conditions contained in this IFB. 

All questions regarding this IFB are to be directed to Karen Kawelmacher in the “Question & Answer,” section of this solicitation.  Failure to adhere to this process may disqualify potential bidder.  The County is not responsible for any oral or written interpretations from any other person.

The County of Yolo advises that interested parties periodically check the websites, including but not limited to Beacon Bid, and/or other county links for modifications. The County of Yolo is not responsible for misunderstandings of a solicitation or nonresponsive bid due to failure to check these websites for updates or amendments to solicitation documents, and/or other information regarding this solicitation.   Failure to periodically check these websites will be at the bidder's/offeror's sole risk.

A pre-mandatory bid conference is scheduled for April 22, 2026 @ 10:00am at the the Cache Creek Nature Preserve at 34199 County Road 20, Woodland, CA 95695.

Please park in the designated parking area and meet at the wetland overlook adjacent to the parking lot.  Participants will be guided to the restoration area.  After visiting the Cache Creek Nature Preserve site, attendees will depart together to the second project location. 

Addendum#1-Original ITB-2006-0005-Vol. I-Bidding & Contracting Requirements document has been replaced with ITB-2006-0005-Vol. I-Bidding & Contracting Requirements-Addendum 1. There was an error in the document for the time of the question close date. It has been changed from 5:00pm to 2:00pm.

Addendum #2-To eliminate and confusion the below paragraph has been removed from ITB-2006-0005-Vol. I-Bidding & Contracting Requirements-Addendum 1.  Addendum#2 has been removed and replaced with ITB-2006-0005-Vol. 1-Bidding & Contracting Requirements-Addendum#2.

 (B) A reminder to General Contractors regarding State Public Contracting and apprenticeship: there are additional local Yolo County requirements concerning participation in a Joint Apprenticeship Committee and a Health Care Expenditure requirement that apply to the Project pursuant to the County’s Procurement Rules.  See Sections 00 12 00 (Notice to Bidders), 00 45 26 (Joint Apprenticeship Committee Certification), 00 45 26 (Statement Regarding No Apprenticeship Violation), 00 45 27 (Statement Regarding No Apprenticeship Violation), and 00 45 28 (Acknowledgment Regarding Health Care Expenditure Requirement) for additional information regarding these requirements and the related forms that must be included with your bid.
