Notably, it is also positioned as the geographic center of the “Golden Horseshoe” extending from the Greater Toronto Area through Western New York to the Finger Lakes, possessing a regional population of over 10 million people. With recent generational investments into transportation and tourism/recreation-related infrastructure, transportation and tourism development, the city is poised to see significant economic growth in the coming years.
