    The I-81 Viaduct Project - Phase 2, Contract 6A, includes the construction of an 8' x 10' concrete stormwater trunkline from Almond St. to Onondaga Creek along E. Water St., State St., Erie Blvd., Salina St., and Herald Pl. Contract 6A will reconstruct E. Water St. between Almond St. and State St.; State St. between Water St. and Erie Blvd.; Erie Blvd. between State St. and Salina St.; Salina St. between Erie Blvd. and Herald Pl.; and Herald Pl. between Salina St. and Wallace St. There will also be pedestrian and bicycle improvements including a shared use path and new sidewalks throughout the project area. Traffic signal modifications or replacements, water and sewer line relocations as needed, and new signs, striping, lighting, and plantings will also be included. Preliminary Draft Plans are available at https://www.dot.ny.gov/portal/page/portal/doing-business/opportunities/const-highway . The anticipated letting date for this project is June 4, 2026.
