    Description

    This project shall include all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, tools, and materials for the removal and replacement of a 782 sq. yd. concrete driveway at Pueblo West Metropolitan District’s Fire Station #3, on the property’s South side. The scope of the project shall include the removal 782 sq. yds. of existing concrete, removal of existing subgrade, scarifying the remaining subgrade to a depth of 12”, moisture conditioning and recompacting to a minimum 95% of a standard Proctor. The project shall then include placing 782 sq. yds. of Class 6 aggregate base course, 6” thick, moisture conditioning & compacting to a minimum 95% of a standard Proctor and placement and finishing of a concrete driveway, 7” thick. Concrete shall meet a minimum compressive strength of at least 4,500 psi. (Class D/P) to include a fiber mesh additive. The project shall also include an access apron (7” thick), with #4 rebar placed on 18” centers, each way and supported by either plastic or galvanized steel chairs. The apron, as measured from the edge of the asphalt roadway, shall extend from said roadway edge, 18’, to the property line along the frontage. All control joints shall be tooled or sawcut (please see exhibit). All necessary traffic control shall be provided by the Contractor.
