    Description

    The Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required for the construction of Tank 140, a 3.3-million-gallon (MG) AWWA D110 prestressed concrete potable water storage tank, for the Pueblo West Metropolitan District. Work includes site preparation; excavation and grading; construction of the tank foundation system; and complete construction of the prestressed concrete tank, including floor slab, core wall, circumferential prestressing system, exterior shotcrete, and roof structure. The Work further includes all tank appurtenances, interior liner system, and coatings suitable for potable water service. The Contractor shall provide and install all associated piping, valves, fittings, and connections, including inlet, outlet, overflow, drain piping, and tie-ins to the existing distribution system. Electrical and instrumentation work includes power service, lighting, level measurement, and integration with the District’s SCADA system. Site improvements include access roads, fencing, gates, drainage facilities, and final grading and restoration. The Work also includes testing and commissioning, including hydrostatic testing, disinfection in accordance with AWWA standards, and functional system verification.
