    Description

    The City of Atlanta (the ¿City¿) is soliciting Bids from qualified vendors to procure tires of all sizes for all classes of vehicles, dispose of said tires in an environmentally sustainable manner and to provide tire repair services for City personnel in the field and on site at any City facility. Vendor must have access to multiple brands of tires with multiple kinds of treads to meet the current operational needs of the City. Vendor must deliver tires to City facilities on a scheduled basis according to the need. Vendor must also provide retreading services for tires as needed, including inspection documentation in its entirety for the City¿s records. Vendor must acknowledge the responsibility of providing comprehensive scrap tire disposal services ¿ this includes the collection, transportation, processing and disposal of scrap tires in accordance with local, state and federal regulations. Vendor must be available for service calls during and after normal City business hours, emergency service calls, on weekends and on select holidays. Vendor must have access to tire parts available on an as needed basis in accordance with the City¿s operational needs.
