General Information
The Immokalee CRA needs the seasonal installation and removal of both rental and CRA-owned holiday decorations at the Zocalo Plaza, (W Main St/N 1st St) Immokalee, FL (See Exhibit A for Area Map).
Term: The Term shall be for one (1) holiday season, commencing on or before the third Saturday of November 2026 (November 21, 2026) and terminating not before the 12th day after December 25th for the celebration of Three King’s Day (January 6, 2027).
Award Criteria: For the purposes of determining the winning bidder, the County will select the qualified vendor with the lowest annual lump sum price. The annual lump sum price will be all inclusive. The winning bidder must provide proof of E-Verify registration, and Certificate(s) of Insurance as required by Collier County prior to a Purchase Order being issued.
Zocalo Plaza: The Zocalo Plaza located at 107 North 1st Street, Immokalee, FL is decorated in preparation for the Annual Immokalee MSTU sponsored Tree Lighting Event on the first Thursday of December (December 3, 2026). The event is held at the Zocalo Plaza. There are two (2) components to this Quote: (1) Vendor supply/rental of strands of LED lights wrapped around palm trees, and (2) vendor installation and removal of CRA-owned decoration. Decorations must be installed on or before the third Saturday of November (November 21, 2026). Decorations will be turned on nightly on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Removal of the vendor’s rental lights and the removal and storage of the CRA-owned decorations shall not be on or before January 6, 2027 for the celebration of Three King’s Day.
(1) Rental Strands of Lights:
Supply and install premium commercial quality LED strands of lights (cool white) wrapped around trees and all the needed exterior/outdoor grade electrical cords. See Site plan (See Exhibit B showing Zocalo Plaza Rendering with locations of trees to wrap in lights) attached for reference of decorated space. All light strings plugged into exterior/outdoor grade electrical cords must be wrapped around the connection with watertight electrical tape to not trip breaker when wet. Vendor will bury all extension cords under the crushed shell ground covering. All lights and timer must be tested and working immediately after setup and thereafter. Vendor shall provide notification to the CRA Project Manager (yvonne.blair@collier.gov) when lights are installed and operational. Any issues will be reported and repaired within 48 hours at no additional cost to the County. The quoted prices for all rental lights will include installation and removal costs. Note: The Annual Rental Christmas Tree is a separate quote and not part of this Quote.
(2) CRA-owned Decorations: Pick up, install, decorate, remove and delivery to storage the CRA-owned decorations located within the Immokalee area. On installation day, pick up CRA-owned decorations at the storage container located at 418 School Drive (approximately 0.8 miles from Zocalo Plaza) and install and connect various CRA-owned decorations for display at the Zocalo Plaza located at 107 N 1st Street. Install and secure with zip ties the CRA-owned decorations at or near the base of the trees wrapped with the vendor’s supplied LED cool white light strands. (See Exhibit C Photos of Decorated Zocalo Plaza) There are approximately 100 decorations in fair condition (See Exhibit D Inventory of CRA-owned decorations). Removal includes the delivery of the CRA-owned decorations by vendor in the County’s container. The quoted prices for decorating using CRA-owned decorations will include installation and removal costs. The vendor is responsible for road MOT, if necessary.
If vendor is unable to install or remove decorations by the date listed below due to weather or other reasonable circumstances, written notice via email will be given immediately to CRA Project Manager with a rescheduled date that will accommodate both parties.
Quoting: Submit a Lump Sum Quote for lights (vendor owned) and holiday decorations (CRA owned) installation and removal by Vendor.
A Purchase Order will be issued to the awarded vendor serving as the notice of commencement. There are no pre-paid deposits. Fifty percent (50%) of the annual Lump Sum Quote will be paid when the Vendor provides an invoice after the installation is completed to Yvonne Blair, CRA Project Manager yvonne.blair@collier.gov with a copy to Christie Betancourt, Assistant CRA Director, christie.betancourt@collier.gov. The balance of the of the Annual Lump Sum Quote will be paid when the Vendor provides an invoice after the removal of the rental Christmas Tree and decorations.

To the maximum extent permitted by Florida law, the Contractor/Vendor shall defend, indemnify and hold harmless Collier County, its officers and employees from any and all liabilities, damages, losses and costs, including, but not limited to, reasonable attorneys’ fees and paralegals’ fees, to the extent caused by the negligence, recklessness, or intentionally wrongful conduct of the Contractor/ Vendor or anyone employed or utilized by the Contractor/Vendor in the performance of this Agreement.
