    Description

    The California High-Speed Rail Authority has issued a Request for Industry Review of its upcoming procurement for Fiber Optic Cables. The Authority requests feedback in the form of comments or redlines to the Technical Requirements. The Technical Requirements are available to download now by clicking "View Events Package".  The anticipated schedule for this Industry Review is as follows: - Release: January 20, 2026 - Written Comments Due: February 13, 12 p.m. Pacific Time Please email your comments or redlines to materialpurchase@hsr.ca.gov and title your email with the subject above. This industry review does not constitute a solicitation document, nor does it represent a commitment to issue any type of solicitation or enter into any contract or agreement related to the high-speed rail program in the future. Please be advised that all comments submitted, and any accompanying materials, will become property of the Authority and are subject to open government laws such as the California Public Records Act, the Bagley-Keene Open Meeting Act, and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). If a submitting party has special concerns about information that it desires to make available to the Authority, but which it believes constitutes a trade secret, proprietary information, or other information exempt from disclosure, such submitting party should specifically and conspicuously designate that information as "TRADE SECRET" or "CONFIDENTIAL" in its submittal.  Blanket, all-inclusive identifications by designation of whole pages or sections as containing proprietary information, trade secrets, or confidential information, trade secrets, or confidential commercial and financial information must be clearly identified as such.
