    TEA is requesting proposals from qualifiedrespondents to effectively manage the Instructional Materials Review andApproval (IMRA) process, encompassing all responsibilities outlined below. Thisproject requires flexibility and adaptability to manage a continuous flow ofmaterials and ensure the necessary expertise is available at each review stage. The IMRAprocess is designed to ensure Texas students and educators have access tohigh-quality instructional materials that are aligned with rigorous statestandards and support meaningful learning experiences. The process involves:·       StatewideReview: TEA oversees a structured, transparent review of instructionalmaterials, replacing previous cycles and review systems.·       StakeholderInvolvement: Multiple stakeholders participate, including the State Board ofEducation (SBOE), trained reviewers, TEA staff, and the public. The SBOE hasfinal approval authority.·       QualityAssurance: TEA develops rubrics and evidence guides, recruits and trainsreviewers, manages logistics, and coordinates with publishers.·       Reportingand Approval: After review, TEA compiles reports, ensures scoring consistency,and publishes results. The SBOE votes on approvals, making materials eligiblefor funding.·       ContinuousImprovement: The process is flexible and adaptable, requiring expertise at eachstage to manage a continuous flow of materials.
