    Description

    The City of Tampa's David L. Tippin Water Treatment Facility Water Quality Laboratory uses IDEXX filtration products for Protozoan, Total Coliform and E. Coli analysis.  The IDEXX Filta-Max is the only filtration product the laboratory is approved to use for EPA 1623 (Protozoan parasites).  The IDEXX Filta-Max is only produced by IDEXX Laboratories, Inc.  The IDEXX Quanti-Tray is used for raw water testing with the Colilert.  Quanti-Tray is only producted by IDEXX Laboratories, Inc.  IDEXX has acquired TECTA Water Monitoring for E. Coli and Total Coliform Testing.  The TECTA Water Monitoring solution is the only automated microbial detection system approved by the EPA for drinking water.
