12/10/2025: The California High-Speed Rail Authority has released an Invitation for Bids (IFB) on a construction contract which includes accessibility improvements, hazardous materials abatement/removal, and the seismic retrofit of the historic Fresno Southern Pacific Railroad Depot and build-out of plazas servicing the two future Fresno station entrances located in downtown and Chinatown, including utility upgrades, relocations and connections, demolition, park and plaza development, station multimodal parking, and EV charging.
