INVITATION FOR BIDS Notice is hereby given that the Port of Montana is requesting sealed bids or proposals for supplying heavy equipment for “NEW 4 CUBIC YARD WHEEL LOADER“ bids are invited and will be received at or prior to of 4:00 p.m. (Mountain Standard Time) on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at the Port of Montana, 119041 German Gulch Road, Butte, Montana 59750. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled time of the public opening of bids. Said Bids or Proposals will be opened at a public opening at 4:00 on March 1, 2023 at the Port of Montana. Invitation for Bids will be posted on the BSB’s website at http://co.silverbow.mt.us/bids.aspx. Persons with disabilities who need an accommodation to participate in this public bid opening should contact Todd Hoar, ADA Coordinator; Business Development Center, Room 105, 305 W. Mercury St., Butte, MT 59701; 406-723-2070; or thoar@bsb.mt.gov on or before February 17, 2023 (3 business days before the public hearing). All Bids must be accompanied by an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate of the Bid Proposed in the form of (a) lawful monies of the United States; (b) a cashier’s check, certified check, bank money order or bank draft, in any case drawn and issued by a National Banking Association located in the State of Montana; (c) a bid bond or bonds executed by a surety corporation authorized to do business in the State of Montana. These securities will be forfeited to the Port of Montana as liquidated damages if the requirements in the way of contract are not entered into within fifteen (15) days after the date of award by the Port of Montana Board of Commissioners. Federal Excise, local or state tax should not be included in the Bids as the Port of Montana is exempt from it. The successful Bidder shall comply with all applicable Federal Regulations and Requirements which include but are not limited to, Section 2 Clause, equal Opportunity Clause, Executive Order 11246 and 11624, Federal labor Standards and Civil Rights Act. The Port of Montana Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all Bid Proposals.
