    NOTICE OF INVITATION TO BID
    STATE OF FLORIDA
    DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION                                               BID NO. BDC27-25/26


    The Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Design and Construction is soliciting formal, competitive, sealed bids from Contractors licensed to work in the jurisdiction for the project listed below.


    PROJECT NAME: Sebastian Inlet State Park – Pavilions Demolition


    BID SUBMITTAL DUE DATE: No later than 3:30 pm (ET), Thursday, June 11, 2026, to the below address: Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Design and Construction, 3800 Commonwealth Boulevard, MS #520, Tallahassee, Florida, 32399-3000, Attention: Brandon Williams, Bureau of Design and Construction, (850) 245-2535. (For hand delivery: Carr Building, Welcome Desk.) The Department reserves the right to reject any or all bids.


    BID POSTING DATE: No later than 3:30 pm (ET), Thursday, June 18, 2026, unless extended by the Department for good cause.


    INSTRUCTIONS: Documents for this bid will be available for download on Thursday, May 21, 2026. Any firm desiring a Project Manual with the plans for this project may obtain directions by emailing BDC_Contracts@dep.state.fl.us.


    SCOPE OF WORK:
    Base Bid:
    Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and permitting to demolish the two (2) pavilions per the contract documents.


    Note: Bidder Prequalification is required for all bids. Each bidder shall provide a copy of its biennial pre-qualification letter from FDEP’s Bureau of Design and Construction. To request a pre-qualification letter, the bidder should email BDC_Contracts@dep.state.fl.us. If not pre-qualified, the bidder must submit a current State Contractor license certification or registration and current Corporate Charter registration with the bid.


    Pursuant to Executive Order 07-126 and Section 255.252(3), F.S. the Department requires the proposed project be designed and constructed in accordance with green building standards where applicable.
