ITB 2026 - 20260709 Pickleball Court Improvements

The City of Brady (City) is soliciting sealed bids from general contractors for Pickleball Court Improvements at Richards Park, West 6th Street, Brady, Texas 76825. The proposed pickleball courts are to be developed on an abandoned tennis court area. Work shall generally include construction and completion of four (4) pickleball courts, including site preparation, excavation of existing soil to a minimum depth of seven (7) inches, subgrade scarification and compaction, sand leveling course, vapor barrier, concrete court slab, concrete sidewalk, acrylic sports surfacing, striping, court surface testing, net/post placement, and furnishing/delivery of base-bid pole-mounted court lighting equipment as shown in the plans.

Delivery Requirement: Sealed bid responses must be received by the City Secretary no later than Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 3:00PM to be considered. Sealed responses must be delivered to the City Secretary in a sealed envelope delivered via courier to City of Brady, 201 E. Main Street, Brady, TX 76825, or USPS to City of Brady, PO Box 351, Brady, TX 76825. All responses must be received prior to the deadline. Sealed responses must be clearly labeled "PICKLEBALL COURT IMPROVEMENTS - RICHARDS PARK / WEST 6TH STREET". Bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud so as to disclose requirements for submission.  

Bid Security: Bidders are required to submit bid security with their sealed bid in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid price in the form of a cashier's check, certified check, or acceptable bid bond. 

Indebtedness to the City of Brady: The City will not award a bid to any Contractor or Vendor who is delinquent in indebtedness to this City.
