    Description

    Removal, and replacement of designated sidewalks, sidewalk sections, curbing, and curb ramps associated within the COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) area, as defined by the Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Specifications and details can be found in (Exhibit B, Specifications and Scope of Work, Bid Schedule). The Contractor shall provide all necessary machinery, tools, apparatus, materials, and labor specified in the Contract Documents, or by any other means necessary to complete the installation or repair of ADA compliant ramps and sidewalk sections identified in this Contract. Unless otherwise directed, all work performed shall be in accordance with the Georgia Department of Transportation¿s (GDOT) Standard Road Specifications, Construction of Transportation Systems (Current edition) and Accessibility Standards under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Project-related materials used to complete this contract must be furnished by GDOT-certified suppliers.
