Box 80 Siloam Springs, Arkansas 72761 TYPE II SURFACE MATERIAL BID: Asphalt Material Only – Jefferson Street Overlay The City of Siloam Springs will be accepting sealed bids for 1000 tons Type II Surface Material (Material Only)– until 2:00 pm CST on Friday, May 15th at the Public Works Building, 1000 E Ashley St, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Electronic (pdf) files may be obtained at no cost by emailing a request to eettner@siloamsprings.com. Sealed bids may be delivered in-person or by private carrier to the City c/o Dennis Kindy at 1000 E Ashley St, Siloam Springs, Arkansas; or mailed to the City c/o Dennis Kindy at P.O. Box 80, Siloam Springs, Arkansas 72761, in an envelope marked as follows: “Sealed Bid Enclosed –1000 Tons Type II Surface Material Bid – Jefferson Street Overlay”. The sealed bids must be received prior to the above date and time. This bid consists of approximately 1000 tons of Asphalt – Type II Surface MATERIAL ONLY and ALL applicable taxes. Materials will be hauled by the City of Siloam Springs. The City shall open and compare the bids and thereafter award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder, but only if it is in the opinion of the City that the best interests of the City would be served thereby. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities, and to postpone the award of the Contract for a period of time which shall not exceed 90 days from the bid opening date.
