The WORK consists of the closure of 1 abandoned mine, maintenance of 4 previously closed abandoned mines, and revegetation of disturbed areas at abandoned coal mines in Carbon County, Utah.Vendor MUST attend the pre-bid meeting (site visit:) See Attachment 007959specscomplete for details (See also Pre-Bid Meeting (Site Visit.). Vendors will then travel to other sites. (Please see the coordinates for the Pre-Bid, Site Visit: Here are the coordinates: 39.699968, -110.921501)It is anticipated that this IFB will result in a single contract award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor.Length of Contract: The WORK under this CONTRACT shall be commenced upon notice to proceed and shall be completed within 14 calendar days after the date of email delivery, date of hand delivery, or date marked on registered mail receipt of said Notice to Proceed and no later than August 31, 2026 . WORK delays caused by weather may, at the discretion of the OWNER, extend the completion date. CONTRACTOR also agrees to the liquidated damages provisions of Article 12.Vendor must guarantee its pricing through the completion of the project.
