    Description

     

     

    The City of Kingman is seeking an ongoing 5 year contract for maintenance of the landscaping on Mohave Airport Drive, and at the Airport Café’ and Terminal building and on Beale street for the Beale street Streetscape project. The maintenance is to include trimming of trees, shrubs, along curbs, and walkways to promote a clean appearance. Litter removal in landscape beds and along Mohave Airport Drive and along Beale street. An effective weed management program should be employed to control weed growth and remove weeds. Appropriate pruning and removal of dead or hazardous branches, and monitoring and maintenance of the irrigation system.

     

    The goal of this procurement is to ensure that our grounds are maintained at a high standard of safety, aesthetic appeal, and environmental sustainability, suitable for the entrance to the airport and the Beale street Streetscape project to represent the City of Kingman beautifully.

     

    We are also looking for an average cost per tree for removal to provide an avenue of planning for future budgetary needs.  The selected contractor will be responsible for executing a range of landscaping tasks at the City of Kingman’s Municipal Airport and Industrial Park and the Beale street Streetscape Project These tasks have been outlined in Exhibit A: Scope of work

    The City of Kingman, Arizona ("City) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms for Landscape maintenance and tree trimming/removal at the City of Kingman Municipal Airport and Industrial Park and The Beale Street Streetscape project with a contract term of five (5) years. Proposals are due by 12:00 pm, Arizona time, on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. The City may reject any proposal not in compliance with all of the prescribed solicitation procedures and requirements contained herein. The City also reserves the right to reject any proposal when cancellation is in the best interest of the City.

    Qualified firms must have the ability to provide landscape maintenance, tree trimming and removal, irrigation maintenance, and repair.

    The Request for Proposal (RFP) may be obtained by visiting the City of Kingman's website: https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/cityofkingman.

    Proposers wishing to submit questions regarding this RFP must do so by 2:00 pm, Arizona time, on Thursday, February 19, 2026. Questions must be submitted through the procurement portal.

    Proposals must be submitted through the OpenGov procurement portal.

    Proposals must be submitted by 12:00 pm on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. The City may reject any proposal not in compliance with all of the prescribed solicitation procedures and requirements contained herein.
