    Description

    Project involves installing approximately 1,620 feet of 12-inch C900 DR-18 PVC Waterline and all necessary appurtenances between 8th Avenue North and Mr. Joe White Avenue along Kings Highway. The Contractor will be in charge of completing the installation of the waterline along with all testing necessary to make the line live. The Contractor will be required to repair Kings Highway in accordance with SCDOT approved permit. This project will have to be performed at night and road closures and road repairs must be done in accordance with the SCDOT permit and SCDOT approved plans. Miscellaneous concrete sidewalk and curb and gutter work will be required for the installation of the line along with repairing the intersection crosswalks at Kings Highway and Mr. Joe White Avenue. The intersection crosswalks are currently a product called Pattern XD. IFB forms, requirements, and plans are available to prime bidders only and may be obtained from the Procurement Office located at 3231 Mr. Joe White Avenue, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577 for a non-refundable fee of $50.00 Prime must complete at least 70% of the work; only 30% of the total project may be completed by approved sub-contractors.
