    STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)Project: Kitchen UpgradeSite Address: 131 13th Street, Greenfield, CA 939271. Project DescriptionThis project consists of a comprehensive kitchen upgrade including demolition, surface preparation,painting, installation of new countertops, backsplash, fixtures, flooring, and finishes. All workshall be completed in a professional manner and in compliance with all applicable codes andregulations.2. Scope of WorkA. Demolition and RemovalThe Contractor shall:• Remove and properly dispose of:o Two (2) existing sinkso Two (2) existing faucetso All existing countertopso Two (2) pass-through shelveso Existing coved base around the perimeter of the kitchenB. Cabinet Preparation and Painting• Prepare all cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and all exposed cabinet surfaces.• Paint all cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and exposed cabinet surfaces with gloss finish paint.• Surface preparation shall include cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming as necessary toensure a smooth and durable finish.C. Wall and Ceiling Painting• Paint all kitchen walls and ceiling with semi-gloss paint.• All surfaces shall be properly prepared prior to painting.D. Countertops and Backsplash Installation• Install new Corian countertops throughout the kitchen .• Install a full-height Corian backsplash, except:o The area behind the range shall receive a stainless steel panel in lieu of Corian.E. Plumbing Fixtures• Install two (2) new stainless steel double-bowl sinks complete with new strainerbaskets.• Install two (2) new pull-out style kitchen sink faucets.F. Cabinet Hardware• Install new drawer pulls and door handles on all cabinet doors and drawers.G. Flooring and Base• Install new vinyl click-together plank flooring throughout the kitchen.• Install new coved base around the full perimeter of the room following flooringinstallation.3. Materials and Color Selection• All paint colors, Corian colors, cabinet hardware, and finish selections shall beselected and approved by the Owner prior to the start of the project.4. Cleanup and Disposal• Contractor shall maintain daily job site cleanup.• Upon completion of the project, Contractor shall:o Remove all construction debriso Haul away all materialso Dispose of all job-related waste at an approved offsite disposal facility5. Permits and Inspections• The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all required permits, approvals,and inspections necessary to complete the work described in this SOW, includingbut not limited to building and plumbing permits.• All work shall comply with local, state, and federal codes, and with requirementsof the City of Greenfield and any authority having jurisdiction.• The Contractor shall schedu le and coordinate all required inspections and shallcorrect, at no additional cost to the Owner, any work found to be non-compliant.• Copies of approved permits and final inspection approvals shall be provided to theOwner upon request prior to project closeout.6. Exclusions and Change Management• Any work not specifically described in this Statement of Work is excluded.• Any work outside the scope of this SOW shall require a separate written quote andprior written approval from the Owner before proceeding.7. General Requirements• Contractor shall maintain a safe, clean, and orderly job site at all times.• Contractor shall protect adjacent areas from damage during construction.• Work shall be coordinated to minimize disruption to facility operations.• Contractor shall be responsible for all labor, materials, tools, equipment, andsupervision necessary to complete the work.
