The New York State Office of General Services (OGS), Real Property and Facilities Management (RPM) is looking for a municipal landfill to dispose of municipal waste from the Nelson A. Rockefeller Empire State Plaza and the W. Averell Harriman State Office Campus, both located in Albany, New York. Municipal waste is defined as waste consisting of everyday items that are discarded by the public. The waste would be collected and transported to the municipal landfill by OGS personnel. The purpose of this procurement is to contract solely for those disposal fees. OGS acknowledges that certain standard terms and conditions may not apply to municipalities that may bid on this contract (such as Section 5.3 - Tax and Finance Clause). In the event a municipality is awarded the contract, such terms will be addressed in the final contract document. The following minimum qualifications must be met by each bidder: 1. Bidder’s facility must be within 15 miles of either Governor Nelson A. Rockefeller Empire State Plaza or the W. Averell Harriman State Office Campus, located in Albany, New York. 2. Bidder’s facility must have a New York State issued license to operate their facility.
