    Questions & Answers

Q (Protected Charts): 1. I noticed the charts in the documents are protected. Is it the plan to unprotect the charts so that prices could be added instead of printing and writing in amounts? 2. When adding amounts to charts, will amounts add up automatically or are they to be added manually for totals?

A: The pricing fields in the document are intentionally left unprotected, and vendors are required to enter their pricing directly into those unprotected columns. There is no need to print and manually write in amounts. Regarding the totals, the charts are set up so that amounts will calculate automatically once pricing is entered into the designated fields.

Q (Mandatory Documents ): In the Vendor Questionnaire Section, there are approximately 14 mandatory documents that must be completed and submitted with this bid. I'm not able to find them. How do I get to these documents and could these forms be completed on OpenGov platform or are they to be printed, filled out, scanned and submitted with the bid?

A: Go to the attachments section of the solicitation and download the solicitation for Landscape Maintenance and Services for Parks and Recreation Department - Contract No. 26-G-138F. Print and complete the relevant forms and upload them to the relevant sections

Q (Bid Tabs): Please send bid tabulations from previous bid for Linear parks, Sportsplex and Bermuda fields.

A: Please see Addendum No. 1

Q (Maps): Can you please provide maps for the locations?

A: Please see Addendum No. 1

Q (Address Bar/Coral Springs Link): In the project information section, 2nd tab project documents. There's a highlighted website for the City of Coral Springs in the summary section #1.1. By clicking on the address bar, it takes me to another project "Pennsauken Township, Camden, NJ and does not take me to the City of Coral Springs.

    A: This has been fixed.

Q (Bermudagrass Fields): On the Bermudagrass fields price sheet, there's only one line for pricing. Are you only wanting the top portion completed by multiplying the number of acres (44.5) by our unit price and then multiplied by 104 cuts for the total cost of all locations? Is this the only line to input pricing?

    A: Yes

Q (Previous Bid Tabulations for Bermudagrass Fields): I requested previous bid tabulations for all bidders that submitted pricing for Bermudagrass Fields. Only one company tabulation was posted, I assume the lowest tabs. Can you please send tabulations from every company that submitted pricing.

A: Please see Addendum No. 2

Q (Prior Bid Tabulation): Could you please provide all of the pricing that was submitted from the various companies for the Linear Parks and Sportsplex? It appears that only the current vendor pricing was provided. Thank you.

A: Please see Addendum No. 3

Q (Missing Map Locations): The maps are numbered. I'm not sure if the one after #3 is a 4 or a 5. But 4 or 5 is missing and 6. If you can please add or provide. Thank you

A: Please see Addendum No. 5

Q (Sportsplex Park): Unlike other parks within the city, I noticed at the Sportsplex Park you're requesting pest & disease control, turf herbicide, fertilization for shrubs, groundcovers and palms. These services are not provided by the contractor at other parks. Is this correct?

A: Please see Addendum No. 6
