Questions and answers will also be posted on the public websites noted above. The Authority will hold a pre-bid meeting starting at 10:00 a.m. on June 17, 2026. The meeting will be at the Lawrence Road Well Field and Pump Station located at 6 Lawrence Road (between house number 10 and 30) Kings Park, NY Town of Smithtown West side of Lawrence Road, Approximately 1258’ South of Main Street (Route 25A). It is strongly recommended that all prospective Bidders attend this meeting. Whereas the Suffolk County Water Authority (Authority) has submitted an application for Water Infrastructure Investment Act (WIIA) funding, the attached specifications pertaining to required Davis-Bacon Act and MBE/WBE requirements are hereby made a part of this contract. Bidders must comply with the terms as described in Contract 8222. Bidders are required to submit the documentation required as per the Davis-Bacon Act and MBE/WBE; failure to submit the documentation will result in rejection of your bid.
