LEAD SERVICE LINE REPLACEMENT PROJECT DWSRF ID - SFY 24-03 Connecticut All proposals for the Lead Service Line Replacement Project for DWSRF ID – SFY 24-03 in Connecticut will be submitted through Aquarion Water Company’s (AWC) E-Bid system and will remain sealed until 2:00 PM current local time, on Tuesday, June 30th 2026 at which time and place they will then be available for review by AWC. Description of Activity: The project consists of the replacement of approximately 172 lead service lines and associated appurtenances at various locations within the Aquarion Water Company of CT distribution system in the Southwestern part of Connecticut. The existing lead and galvanized portions of the water service lines (Utility and/or Customer sides) and associated components that contain lead will be completely removed from service. New copper pipes (Type “K”) of various sizes, corporation stops, curb boxes, and isolation valves will be installed as replacement of the components that were removed as part of the Lead Service Line Replacement (LSLR) program. Site Location: The work area may include any service connection within AWC’s CT distribution system in Southwestern part of Connecticut. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting shall be held at 11:00am on Monday, June 15th at 600 Lindley St, Bridgeport, CT. Deadline to Submit Requests for Clarifications: 3:00 PM June 17 th Bid Closing: 3:00 PM June 30th This project is funded by Connecticut Drinking Water State Revolving Fund, a part of US EPA program. Upon receipt of this RFP, please be sure to indicate your intention to bid, or not bid, by communicating your decision through the this electronic bid portal (Aquarion.Procureware.com). Aquarion Water Company reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. Note: Bid, Performance, and Payment Bonds will be required for this project. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time of this bid.
